TIME: Doubles Tourney begins at 11:00 AM. Singles begins during doubles finals. Doors opens at 9:00 AM for friendlies/setup. PLEASE come early, and bring set-ups too!
SCHEDULE:
9:00am - Doors open/signups for doubles, low tier, crews, singles
11:00am - Doubles start/Final signups
12:00pm - Low Tier doubles start
1:00pm - Crews start
2:30pm - Singles start
3:00pm - Melee Starts
4:00pm - Low Tier singles
All events will be run at the same time, so please make sure to listen to your name and type of match it will be.
PRICE:
Venue: $3 per event
Must have full set-up (TV+wii) to take venue off. 2 people may split venue if paired.
Doubles: $14 per team
Singles: $10 per person
Low-tier Doubles/Singles ($6 per team/ $3 per person)
Melee: $7 per person ($2 venue)
Crews will be 3v3 single elimination $6 per team winner take all. In crews NO ONE CHARACTER may be used twice. All players must use a different character.
If you arrive late you will pay $2 extra venue to enter.
PRIZES:
I'm going to do a guaranteed pot prize for every 4th level, so World 2-4 will have a $500 pot towards singles only. The more people come, the more I'll add to the pot. So invite your friends icon_biggrin
ALSO, If you do any of these:
-Losing on purpose
-Splitting
-Waiting to see who the winner plays in any loser brackets scenario before a winners match is played
You will be DQ'd from the tourney and forfeit any winnings.
Collusion of any kind with your competitors is considered cheating. If the TO determines that any competitor is colluding to manipulate the results or intentionally under performing, the collaborating players may be immediately disqualified. This determination is to be made at the sole discretion of the TO. Anyone disqualified in this manner forfeits all rights to any titles or prizes they might have otherwise earned for that tournament.
ALL MATCHES WILL BE PLAYED OUT. NO QUESTIONS.
Also 5 MINUTE DQ. If your match is called and you don't show up within 5 minutes, you lose, end of story. I will yell your name 5 million times, and I will ask everyone where you are. If I don't find you, you lose.
There will be food! So if you're in the tourney I'll have food for you so you don't have to leave. That or bring food so you don't have to leave.

Set Format
---------------
- Round 1 -
(1) Controller slots are agreed upon (randomly if need be).
(2) Character selection is done "Double Blind". Any player may instead choose a character before the opponent and skip Double Blind.
(3) Stage Select is determined by Elimination Method (see 'Stage Select - First Round', below).
- Round 2 -
(1) Winner of the Previous match bans a stage from the list of stages. Loser of the previous round announces the stage to be played - you may not choose a stage on which you have already won.
(2) Winner of the previous round selects character.
(3) Loser of the previous round selects character.
(4) Stage is highlighted by the previous round's loser, and started by the previous round's winner.
Repeat 1-4 for each additional round played.

Stage Select - First Round

Players alternate choosing a stage to "eliminate" from the list of available stages, starting with the player with the controller slot closest to #1. The last stage remaining is used for the first round of the set.

Additional Game Rules & Clarifications
-----------------------------------------------
* Finals in both the Primary and the Elimination Brackets will be "Best of Five" games.
* Grand Finals will be "Best of Five", with the player coming from Elimination Bracket needing to win two Sets to take first place.
* In case of time-out, the winner is the player with the most stock. In case of tied stock, the winner is determined by lowest damage percent.
*If someone kills by locking in a suicide move such as ganondorf flame choke or bowser bomb the person who initiated the move wins.
*Standing Infinites are banned. Ice Climbers grabs are allowed. Wall infinites allowed.
*Ledge rule in effect. 35 ledge grab limit. If in the event you suspect your opponent of grabbing
ledge above the limit after the match is finished you
check the stats. If your opponent has indeed gone over the limit you win the match.
* In case of technical problems (e.g. power outage) the round will be replayed, do not start from damage percent or stock lost.
