No no. The universe froze. You see, the cosmic computer couldn't process Chuck Norris missing AND taking damage. There's no code for that kind of thing, so the universe just froze.

God had to come in and manually re-boot it. He couldn't do it, so he called Anubis, Bhudda and Zeus to lend him a hand. But in the end, he had to get a new one.

Of course, thank various religious figures for external hard drives! Most of the data was still intact and saved to backup.

Unfortunately, it resulted in history re-writing itself so that Sakurai decided to take out Ridley and hitstun from Brawl. Also Geno.

And they had to take some of Captain Falcon's awesomeness so they could re-build Chuck Norris.
