i dont see how a guy getting all the way to finals thanks to a 1 hit kill grab is defined as being a hero. but thats just me
Because as others have pointed out in many places, Wobbles played unbelievably well this tournament. The grabs don't come from nothing, especially against the calibre of player that was at EVO. Some of his setups for the grab (using Nana's blizzard, getting Nana to throw an ice block to force them to shield so he could grab, etc..) were incredible. You don't see Ice Climbers doing so well very often, even with their infinite grab, and the reason the character was second here was thanks to Wobbles playing probably better than he's ever played before.

Wobbles impressed at this tournament because of the breadth of set-ups he had for the infinite, and his ability to recognize and capitalize on his opportunities to use them. To say he "relied" on the infinite demonstrates a gross misunderstanding of just how difficult it is to win second place at EVO with ICs. What Wobbles relied on, instead was top notch reaction, and unparalleled character knowledge. And doing that with a character as limited as the Ice Climbers definitely warrants "hero" status.
