Hey, fresh face here checking on the scene.
Just wondering if there are any border city folks that know of any regular events happening around town. I think I've seen one smash tourney advertised all year (and it was a brawl exclusive). Not sure if it's the geography or a lack of visibility, but it seems like we're caught in a weird spot just outside most of the Southern Ontario and Michigan scene. So my question is, Does anyone out there have the know on any (semi)/weekly tourneys or smash-fests going on in Windsor/Essex County?
I know there are crews scattered across town that play on the regular, but I was looking to see who else was in the area looking to bridge all the basement bouts and start working towards organizing something bigger. I've been streaming on the regular with some friends; and we've all been looking to add some new faces to the mix, get hype as ****, and have some fun. If that sounds like something you'd be into, then drop a line in this thread.
