Will using Project M homebrew ver with the ocarina method erase my brawl data?

Sorry for the long title folks.

But that's the question I have, because I've almost unlocked all characters on Brawl, so I wanted to know if using the Ocarina and Hooktype method for playing Project M through USB Loader GX was going to kill off my Brawl save file.

wont delete it
, they use the same save file though. so unlocking things in PM will then be unlocked in brawl.
