Will there be a way to exceed 64 friends on wifi

sorry but unfortunately no.
hacking can provide some pretty awesome things. but it has its limits.
To do something like that would require far far far far more work than anyone would ever want to bother doing.
EDIT: besides with the wifi shutdown happening in may, it'd be kind of pointless to do this anyhow.
