will the bomb save be a realistic recovery tactic in brawl?

I'm hesitant to say yes or no at this point. Loks like it might be quite a bit more difficult, which would be kinda cool i guess

It's much more difficult to bomb jump in Brawl. But from the general consensus, it would appear she doesn't even need to anymore regardless.

I have a hard time imagining a Samus that's so floaty it's actually harmful to bomb-jump. If anything, the devs saw what the bombs did to Samus' recovery and made it more difficult so it's actually a challange to pull off an insane recovery. The bomb jump will probably still be used as a mindgame, allowing you to halt your momentum while recovering to dodge edgeguards but not kill you...and the like...and whatnot...

So basically, unless you are mindgaming, it's useless now. *facepalms* This is quite unfortunate, but I guess it makes up for getting back on the stage more easier.

Possibly? At least they left it in some form to give the player that option. And don't take my word for it, this is just speculation, I haven't played the game yet so there's no way I could know.

Plus she has 3 grapples before she lands. So missing one giving her some forward momentum and using one more will work too.

From what I've seen, Samus' DI is so godly that she doesn't need it. It might still be useful, though.
