Will SSBB be the best game for the Wii on December 3rd?

I think with the release of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, people have seen that the Wii is amazing (except for door opening).

Corruption received a perfect 10 out of 10 from Nintendo Power. I believe it is the second game EVER to do so. Will Brawl be that good?

Best game for the wii?

No idea, that's all really down to individual opinion. I don't think it will over take Prime 3, as I hear that's GOLDEN. But Brawl will definatly be a hit though.

On par with the best anyways! Metroid Prime 3 was sweet, and I have a feelin' Mario Galaxy will be too.

ssbb will obviously be the best game on the system for its lifespan. unless there is another smash sequel

I think of it this way: before, people held out on buying Wiis because they could still play Melee on the Gamecube. Now, people will be buying Wiis just for Brawl. There's also nothing comparable to Brawl (or the SSB series) on other platforms, so even more people will want it.

So not only do I think that it's the best GAME for the Wii, I also think it's the best game FOR the Wii. =D

December 3rd, while all of you look forward to it in eager anticipation of the release of the latest Smash Bros release, I will be doing everything in my power to destroy it. Yes, that's right, destroy. You see, logically the epic release of Brawl will bring forth a series of events that will lead to only one possible outcome; the apocalypse. First, you will play it. You will all play it, thinking it completely harmless. However, when you go back to your other games, you will be thinking but one thing; "why can't this be as good as SSBB". Such thoughts will trigger a new thought, and every game will thenceforth be compared to SSBB... will any live up to it? No, it's not possible. Every game release will each be more disappointing that the last, until, finally, the video game industry completely fails. Xbox and Playstation will assault Nintendo in an epic final three-way Free For All Brawl... the prize; Super Smash Bros Brawl. Each company will bring forth weapons of mass destruction the likes of which the world has never seen. They will fight a gargantuan war, destroying cities in their wake. They will kill innocents, plow through countries, and tear down skyscrapers... until nothing is the left. Echoing through the barren wasteland will be the soft voices, whispering the words that nobody is left to hear:

"Remember, remember, the 3rd of December."

Mark my words...

People do the same for Halo. What rock were you under?

I'm going to wait until it comes out to throw around words like 'best' and 'ever'. for all we know this could suck. I'm keeping my expectations low so I don't get like a sucker if it turns out to be a disappointment.

For all we know, it can't possibly suck. We know a lot. If the game were released with just all we know, it would still be awesome. I mean, just think about all the cool stuff we actually know, ya' know?

If you hadn't said that I was about to mention it, lol. It really did kill some kind of experience in the game to me. I'm not even that impatient, but watching those doors not open was... Irritating.

On topic, I believe Brawl -could- be the best game ever made. The only thing I see it being unable to surpass is Melee... but we'll see. It comes down to the number of characters, and competitive balance, for me anyway.

Ill already give myself a free day of work on december 4th to play like crazy ona friends house on 3rd..

illl have to wait until dec 15 to get my wii and my brawl!!

Brawl really doesn't have to do much to impress me. Melee was rushed like mad and it turned out great... Brawl should be awesome due to the new characters, balance tweaks and game modes... basically Melee is awesome and Brawl will be better.

So not only do I think Brawl is going to be the best Wii game, but I also think it's going to be the best game for any console to date.

I wanna point something that i have noticed in all the tournies and game expos i have been in my country.

There are always lots of tvs and consoles,,,, you see Halo, gears of war,,, the crazy number of vs fighter games............ BUT,,,,, always,,,, and i mean ALWAYS... the stands which the most players are the ones with Melee.
Sure, LAN games and Fighters bring a lot of people,,, but is like crap in comparison with the ones wanting to play Melee.

Halo 3 Can be all what you want... but the smash series have some magic or something... i dont know what... that bring the most number of people together,,,,, and Brawl will just take this into a totally new dimension,

It's because all of the Mario fans, the Zelda fans, the Pokemon fans, the Kirby fans, the Fire Emblem fans, the Star Fox fans, the WarioWare fans, the Metal Gear Solid fans, and many more can play the same game and get everything they love and more. Not to mention the unique battle system and enticing stages.

Brawl can only be the greatest game on Dec. 3rd? -.-

Remember, the maker of melee is making brawl O.O Brawl will exceed melee, Sakurai is correcting the problems of melee so brawl will be nearly perfect.

And how will Brawl change the fact that Melee is your favorite gc game?

Brawl to be the greatest game for the wii for the rest of its lifespan!
