Personally I think advanced techneques should be showed in an "unlocked" tutorial video.
If not then I should complain to sakurai that advanced techniques should be banned from tornements since it is a "glitch" and not intended to of been made.

Not saying I have anything against advanced techs but they need to be exploited in the game or they are techniclly considered illegal in tornements if most the world didnt know Advance techs.

We do WD'ing in tornements of ssbm becuase everyone knows about them but with a new game, the programmers shouldent make a mistake to leave a glitch in the game which is legal int ornements.

You all know what I'm about to say. Just use your imagination.

I kind of like the subtle way Nintendo leaves in tons of paths for improvement, while never explicitely telling you what they are. Like, in Pokemon, everyone has been told "trained pokemon are stronger than just-caught ones", but it's hard to figure out exactly how EVs work on your own. Same with SSB, you have to figure out everything but the most basic controls on your own, or through another person.

I view "knowing/using the fact that YLink's dsmash has two hits in front" as much of an advanced technique as figuring out that "airdodging into the ground causes you to slide". Most of the things we consider advanced in Melee wouldn't have made sense in a tutorial vid because they were just emergent gameplay, i.e. game mechanics working like they should that players discovered alternate uses for. If the 1 year old AHTP vid that Wak made is already outdated (recent things like platform-chained aerials and shield-dropping are conspicuously absent), then a video that's in the game from its launch would be useless within a month.

True that and i wonder what would happen if someone found a glitch that allowed you to use your up b as much as you want in the air (Apart from sakurai releasing a patch).

This is a good idea, I would want there to be an unlock for each character kind of later on. Like showing Samus's EXTEEEEEENDEEEEEER!! and bomb recovery which i think they added them self.

Okay, this is my first post in quite a while...

I gues advanced videos would be nice, so players could be shown some extra stuff that makes up gameplay but isn't truly needed (like L canceling, item catching in midair, sweet spots, etc.). Exploits of the physics engine (like wave-dashing, or jump cancelling) might or might not be in, since they weren't discovered for a long time (I don't recall any topics on SHFFLC, WDing, JCing or chain throws dating from 2002) and aren't techiques per se, anyway.

As for the use of smash coins, I think they weren't worth it in Melee. If they'd come up with an use for the coins (such as buying some items, alternate level music or alternate costumes), I'd like it; otherwise, they lack any purpose in the game unless you're a completitionist.
