I think that they actually say that "number of characters in both consoles are the same" i already heard it like this 2 times. Maybe the just the 'number' is the same.It has already been stated that the character roster will be exactly the same. However, there will be different stages for their respective game.
The Nintendo feature game-play video already stated both will have the same exact roster.I'm pretty sure there are going to be some version exclusives.
Case in point: Wii Fit Trainer and Villager don't have any 3DS screens. This is hardly definitive evidence, but it's an indication. the 3DS might have a different Villager and, honestly, I can't see the 3DS having a Wii-specific mascot. But I don't know who the 3DS equivalent would be. Maybe Miis?
Hmm...you're correct. I would imagine that would mean they'll be the same otherwise they would say differently, but who knows...lolI think that they actually say that "number of characters in both consoles are the same" i already heard it like this 2 times. Maybe the just de 'number' is the same.
This is proven wii fit trainor has no confirmed 3ds screenshots. On the site they are all Wii u.megaman is on both for sure. Hmmm. Either this means wii u exclusive or they have not finished the characters in the 3ds
Villager also has no 3DS screenies, and he would be 3DS exclusive if anything.Well, let's look at this way. If the characters, like stages, are going to be platform specific, wouldn't it make sense to have the characters being true to their platform the same way stages are (Nintendogs and Spirit Tracks on DS etc)? As such, Wii Fit Trainer would be Wii U exclusive.
That being said, I don't like the idea much and I'm not convinced it'll happen. But you never know.
Well, Animal Crossing is on both (and started on Gamecube, right?) but I do feel like it has a stronger handheld presence.Villager also has no 3DS screenies, and he would be 3DS exclusive if anything.
This. Also right after saying that there would be the same number of characters on both versions he went on to point out, that while that was true they would have different stages. To me this seems to imply that the fact that there would be stage differences between versions, contrasts with the fact that the rosters won't be different.http://www.nowgamer.com/news/1972435/super_smash_bros_the_difference_between_wii_u_3ds_versions.html
According to here, the characters in both versions will unfortunately (for me) be the same. He wants the same experience for both platforms.
That's a pretty stupid idea if you ask me.for the starter characters being different, I think its a gimmick move. I honestly doubt that one system will have some characters at the start compared to the other system.
