Wii VGA cord problems

So I just bought a Mayflash Wii/Ps3 VGA adaptor so I could hook up my Wii to my 19" Viewsonic http://www.mayflash.com/vgabox/vga004/vga004.htm

But anyway, I can't get it to work. First off, the VGA cord is a female cord so I had to use the mini male-male adaptor that it came with to hook it up to my monitor. But even when I do that the monitor comes up with the following message.

Out of Range
H. Frequency: 15.7 KHz
V. Frequency: 59.9Hz

Does anyone know how I can fix this? I really want to play brawl in my dorm room! Help would be greatly appreciated.

just a 19" Viewsonic LCD Monitor

I got the VGA cord to work and it looks great, I definitely recommend it.
