Are Wii U Gamecubes Adapters region free because I'm from the US and bought it from China at Amazon.

they arent to my knowledge. specially cause if amiibo arent region locked why wold an adapter be?

I have a friend in the United Kingdom that imported a (first party) GC adapter from America and he says that it works perfectly fine with both his Wii U and PC. So, I think it's safe to say that they aren't region locked.
