It's about time the Wii U gets a motion camera. They should call it Wii See U.

Is this a bad joke? Because if XboxOne couldn't have a good motion camera (To the point where they made XboxOnes without Kinect for $400), why would a much weaker console have a good one?

It already has one on the Gamepad, just in case. It just doesn't have a single use for it besides off-TV play on Wii Mode because the concept itself is inherently bad.

The PS2's EyeToy failed. The PS3's PlayStation Eye failed. The Kinect keeps failing. It would be suicidal for Nintendo to put stock in the same path.

One that's way better than kinect or ps camera combined.

Why would Nintendo do this? I mean, the Wii U is suffering from sales as is, and Nintendo's going through bull**** with Phillips. They really can't afford to take that big a risk, because if the idea fails, there goes millions down the toilet. Nintendo is better off doing things safe until the time is right to do anything risky.

It's a clever product name for a product that shouldn't exist, is the sense I'm getting from this thread.
