Hi I have a wii and just got a wireless router for it, but when i get it connected it plays like one lap of a race then it says you have been disconnected, does anyone no if need a usb, or whats the go?

wii internet connection issues...

Anywho, you should get an error message. A 5 digit code.
When you find that number, remember it and go to support.nintendo.com
On the left, you'll see an error code section. Enter the number in there and it will tell you how to fix it.
Are you able to successfully perform the connection test? I would imagine you can't. More than likely you need to enter the web page for your router. To do this, open your internet browser and just type in whatever IP address your router is assigned (just google it and you should find it) in the address bar.
I can't really do much for you without the error code and make/model of your router.
