I guess I wonder how that's going to work out, I mean if someone feels like playing at 8am and is paired against someone that wants to play at 2pm, how are they going to coordinate that? Especially with multiple matches and schedules being different, I guess I'm wondering how the tournament would progress reasonably.

Yeah but I can't just sit at my computer all day waiting for emails to coordinate match times, or to find out if my next opponent is ready yet. Has this open-ended tournament style worked for you in the past? It just seems a little too unrestricted, like I could have a match at 9am and wind up refreshing the page until 3pm not sure if my next match is ready or not. I mean how are you going to "time out" no-shows if it's okay for people to show up at 8pm?

In that case, the pairs work out a time. They post at said time in the tournament thread. If one person posts and the other doesn't within the next half-hour, the non-poster is eliminated. Sound good?

I have a tournament to go to on May 23 and 29-30, but I can find a time to play my matches online. I honestly doubt I'll get but one or two rounds in, but I'd love to partake. Wii Fit Dittos are grand.
