Wii Brawlers is a league for Super Smash Bros. Brawl...

We compete for fun and rankings. Tournaments are held, league games (outside of tournament matches) are played, and we get to know each other.

We are more of a family than a group... So dont join if you are in it only for trashing others, we are here for Fun first of all.....With that said....Join today.

So take your shoes off and stay awhile. To read all the details on what to sign up for, and what to do please click Here.
PM me for more information....

F.A.Q's

Wii Brawlers is a league that sets-up Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournaments over Nintendo Wi-Fi. We do not host any games on a server. It’s solely via the WFC. To find out how read on!

How Does Wii Brawlers League work exactly?

We use a system called cases ladder tournament system. It is completely automated as far as rankings and updating information on who is top in the league. During tournaments Tournament Directors (TD's) access the cases system directly and run the tournaments.

How are tournaments ran?

Tournaments are set-up through the cases ladder system by TD's then a number called 'a jump number' is provided as a link for the users of the league. Then the players go to the tournament page and use their league ID and password to sign-up for the tournament. The tournament is announced usually in the forums but can be found on the tournament page as well.

So how is this all possible you ask?

Well it's all being made possible with the help of Brawl Friend Codes, so you can actually find your opponent online via the forums. There is also a chatroom available that will help you find your opponents.

Tournament Process

I still don't know how this will work?
How does the tournament leader know who won and who lost?
How do we know if everyone is ready to fight?

Well I guess it's time for me to address these questions by going over the tournament process itself:

1. Once you've signed up for the tournament (we'll go over that later) and it's almost the starting time, you have to check in. Check in is done on the tournament website and begins around 30 minutes before the tournament is set to begin. If you fail to Check In than you will be dropped out of the tournament and your partner will automatically move on to the next round so be careful! Check In time ends 5 minutes before the tournament starts unless a small extension is requested.
2. Now comes the time to check your pairings. It might be helpful to know who you’re fighting when you go into the tournament! The forums page will contain all information on who is facing who and what everyone’s brawl friend codes are. Meet your opponent in the forums under the tournament page and establish how quickly you can begin the round.
3. Exchange Friend Codes with your partner. Friend Codes and League ID's should be displayed in your signature on the forums so it will be easy for your partner to access. League ID's are the name you sign up to the league with, which will be discussed later.
4. FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!
This one's a little obvious. Play the Match. Find your partner online and fight them. Easy.
5. This step is important. The loser of the match will report the loss on the forums...coming soon the Chat Room will allow for reporting. This is done to prevent any kind of confusion, and it is unlikely that someone would say they lost when they won. Keeping everyone honest =)
6. Now repeat step 2. Depending on the type of tournament this step may not apply to you. I think we all have the sense to know that if we lost in a single elimination match than we're out of the tournament, and don't need to go to this step. If we won than we obviously need to check who we are playing next. If you won then you can check you pairing before the start of the next round. If you continue to win then you will continue to do this step until the tournament ends.
And that is the basic structure for a tournament day. We don't know how long these tournaments will last for but it will depend on the amount of players we have in the tournament. If necessary the tournament will be extended to be a multi-day tournament and will finish as soon as possible.

What are league games?

League games are one vs. one games that are played outside of tournament but they still affect rankings. You can play every user 5 times a day. The loser reports the loss under the Report Loss link. There is a board on the forums dedicated to finding users for league games. League games begin the day Brawl is in your hands, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT for tournaments to begin for this system to work.

How do I get started?

There are TWO Sign-ups....Why two? Well one sign-up is for the league itself, it allows you to enjoy the rankings system, tournaments, and league games. The second sign-up is for the forums....YOU MUST be registered to the forums in order to play. This is because brawl friend codes and conversations are held inside the forums.

Im sorry for the inconvenience of having to sign-up in two different places but I promise it is worth it!
