The Elite Eight are the eight best smashers on WiFi Wars. Every two weeks, a tournament is held to decide who will challenge the elite for their title.

The Elite Eight Tournament does not have forum registration, instead, participants simply have to show up in the Wifi Wars chat room at 4:00 pm, EST on Saturday in order to participate. Those who participate should be warned the tournament can take 2-3 hours, depending on how far you advance.

Participants will be split up into six pools based on their region. Within those pools, we'll hold a round robin tournament. For those who don't know what a round robin is, essentially it is a format in which every player plays a match against every other player. Whoever has the best record will win the pool.

The six winners from each pool will face the six lower ranked Elites. The top 2 ranked Elites don't have to defend their title as reward for their top rank. Once the Elites have been decided, the top 2 ranked join to have a final, 8 man bracket, which will decide the ranks of the Elite.

::: Rules :::
All matches are 3 stock, best of 2 out of 3
