Wi-Fi 1v1?

Does anyone know if there is 1v1 on wifi or not? Cause I'm going to go crazy if there is.

There is definitely 1v1 play on Wi-Fi, using "With Friends". When you're using "With Anyone", however, I'm thinking it'll always be 4 player free for all matches.

Shame you can't have 1v1 and 2v2 with anyone (2 people per Wii).

you actually can if a 3rd player doesnt appear within 70 seconds , but sometimes CPU players fill the empty spots that sucks

skip ahead a little bit

I'm sure some of you have seen this video... interesting things to note:

A) it's online with friends (shown by the names)
B) only smashballs appear (suggesting item setting are customizable)
C) isn't this the level that is supposed to rotate? hmm interesting
D) the meta knight player kills himself instantly.

EDIT: nevermind about C... the time skips ahead like no other.... has it been confirmed yet that stage interaction things can be turned on/off?
