Jokes aside though.

Tingle.
He's a crazy guy.

So basically you probably know Tingle from, Minish Cap, Majoras Mask, FSA, Wind Waker, or even Oracle of Ages.
What you didn't know is that he's a timeline jumper or something.

So he first appears in timeline order in the Minish Cap with his brothers Ankle, Knuckle, and David Jr.
Pretty good so far.

But then he appears like a century later in Majoras Mask.
He is alone with NO siblings in this game.

Fast forward a bit and in the same timeline Four Swords Adventures all of his brothers are with him.

This is where things get confusing.

In Wind Waker Tingle will tell you a story on the Tingle Tuner about the Hero of Time,
(presumably the Majors mask version, since that was the only game he was in with the Hero of Time).
But wait?

How could Tingle tell a story from Majoras Mask if its in a whole different timeline?

A sweet and simple answer is that they're all different Tingles.

Wrong.

David Jr. Ankle, and Knuckle are the best way to explain this.

They first appear in The Minish Cap.

But, how could a century later they appear in Four Swords Adventures, AND Wind Waker with the same
exact names? And the same story?

David Jr. Is the white Tingle that isn't related to Tingle at all. This is explained in Wind Waker, AND Minish Cap.

So what is happening?
