Smash 3DS Why is the eShop version so glitchy?

Does anyone know why the eShop version is so glitchy? I was gonna get it and now I'm glad I got the cart version. Is there a particular reason why it crashes and everything when the cart version doesn't? If you have the digital version, post any glitches or crashes you have encountered below and if you know the answer to the question (title of thread) , please enlighten me!

My digital version crashed once, but that was because I was online. In your case it seems very strange.

I've had digital since the midnight release, played almost daily with no glitches.

Something's wrong with whomever is telling you your information, because the digital version is perfectly fine.

I have the physical copy and it has only crashed on me once before entering Target Blast.

I have 3 digital copies on 3 different 3DS's and not one of them has ever crashed my system.

My digital version has never had any sort of issue.

Most likely, anyone who has experienced major issues on a regular basis has a bad, corrupted SD card. It has nothing to do with the game itself afaik.
