Why is Link lowest tier?

Links recovery is freakin terrible, a ness throw at the edge will kill link above about 45 damage. But yeah, play somebody who is incredible with boomerang and bomb, and they EASILY make up for his lack of recovery. Id say that great link are some of the most difficult people to play beause they can hit u with a boomerang from almost anywhere, the dair coupled with z-cancel is one of the best single moves in the game (not a combo move, just as a high damage and knockback move, followed by no lag). So yeah, his recovery is terrible, but good links will not allow you to get them off edge at low damages.

boomerang + bomb + run up and attack = 3 things to worry about. like 3v1. Use projectiles to your advantage and don't get thrown. Link can be godly on land but his recovery is laughable

Brawl is said to have no real tiers, they seem to be currently trying to balance everyone out.
