Why is Forward Throw and Up Throw rarely used?

I know tons of Sheik players love to grab and throw people up.
And like Rawkstar said, it's situational, mostly based on how you KO your opponent. It can also depend on how powerful it is as well. Some characters have better KO power with their throws, like Ness's back throw.

For Peach Bthrow is a better version of Fthrow and Uthrow is an inferior Dthrow. Uthrow can set up for Uair but Dthrow has guaranteed follow-ups and basically does everything better. Fthrow is used if Bthrow won't kill and you want to throw the opponent of stage.

Depending on the scenario, I may opt between FThrow and BThrow for positioning purposes. DThrow is a primary launcher for a lot of characters while UThrow can be used for alternative combos or to put the opponent in a guessing game.

i think using dthrow repeatedly is actually a good thing, as the more you use it you stale it so the knock back is lower, allowing easiee followups, at least thats what i think

Mario's u-throw is good against fast fallers at low percents. A good combo off of it is U-throw> D-air> B-air/U-air.
