Why I think the 35 character roster is fake...

Because it doesn't have a playable animal crossing character like Tom Nook. I mean, there is an Animal Crossing stage in the game. Why would there be a stage, but no character? Look at Smash Bros. Melee...all the stages in that game had a playable character to represent it. I see no reason why they would put an Animal Crossing stage in Brawl, but have no playable Animal Crossing characters.

Tom Nook is in the AC stage. Also, there is a DS icon(pictochat stage), but are they going to have the stylus as a character because of that? nope.

I believe the 35 character roster is fake, but not because of that.

Nintendo does as they please. If they want an Animal Crossing stage and no PC, then dammit, that's what they get. There's no formula dictating what characters they use and don't use.

Megaman, Geno, Mallow, Krystal, Black Shadow, Black Knight, Animal Crossing Representative, and Toad. I want them in...don't think they will be, but I"m hoping.

My song choices for this game were made very carefully after surveying song popularity, using opinions submitted to the Smash Bros. web site and listening to the songs themselves.

But there are also some songs I added based entirely on my own whims. This one song is from a Japan-only Game Boy game called X. If a song is good, that’s enough for me.

Of course, there is no X stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but this time, the songs in Smash Bros. aren’t limited only to those series represented by characters and stages. We’ve pulled some that are from completely unrelated games.

It doesn't matter that there's a stage and music...that doesn't guarentee a PC. Brawl is all about gimmicks. They're trying to represent a lot of franchises...but not all of them need PC's.

eh you are all a bunch of ***gats. Im not throwing out the idea that the 35 char roster is real, but i cant see why there wouldnt be an animal crossing rep for the same reasons. Its a unique moveset, extremly popular franchise. Lets face it, most people can pick out the animal crossing characters before they can pick out Ridley or that skank Krystal. And as far as the picto chat thing goes... its only a stage. Hell dont be surprised if your what the **** char. is dr. Lobe. Who knows. Dont throw the possibilities out you dumb little ****s.

Characters have stages, stages don't have characters though. I think it has its own icon because it has a stage, music and an item already.
