My girlfriend plays brawl once in a while. She's really bad, so I tried to help her out by teaching her some stuff even though I don't play brawl. After like 5 minutes she didn't want to play anymore. I asked if she wanted to learn melee and she did even answer lol :D

I wouldnt get it twisted. People move from casual into competitive. You can't just teach people all this **** an expect them to be good at it or enjoy it. It like teaching algerbra to third graders. Some people can do it but most people just hate it even if they could do it with practice.

I played with my younger cousins, two girls, for a long time and they really liked it but it was items on and whatever stage/character. I didnt teach them anything but use the cstick and try pressing a or b and it was fun.
