Why does R.O.B. never get a home stage?

R.O.B. does not represent Gyromite as opposed to Stack-Up. R.O.B. represents the whole Robot series, which consists of Gyromite and Stack-Up. Stack-Up is even referenced in R.O.B. himself since R.O.B.'s hands are from Stack-Up specifically. In addition to that, the trophy listing in Smash 3DS lists both of R.O.B.'s trophies under the heading called "Robot series".
