Hey wats up Ganon boards
I dont main Ganon I jus play as him for fun.
My heavy weight main is Ike
But I have been thinking about using Ganon more
he is alot of fun to play
He is jus so slow, but makes up for it with his strength
My question is whose better Ganondorf or Ike?

As one who mains neither, I say Ike.

More priority, and a hell of alot more range, with about equal power.

The only advantage I would give to Ganon is the Flame Choke, and ultimately, Ike can beat that out.

Eventually, it is highly likely that Ganondorf will be considered to be better, since Ike has few highly advanced strategies and is very predictable. Ike does have a sword and thus disjointed hitboxes, but ALL of his moves are slow. (even jab and side B, srsly) Ganon has a lot to do, and many great techniques that add on to his normally weak style

Ike has more range than Ganon, with a disjointed hitbox. He's also stronger and, when played well, not any slower. If two people with the same amount of skill would pick Ike and Ganon, Ike would win.

Ike.

Ike has more range, mobility, and better recovery. Ike also has more safe aerial options.

Ike in this case. his A-A-A is too good and he can edgeguard a lot better than ganon. i think ganon fares better against the smaller characters though, since his dash attack is seriously good to KO them with

Ganondorf is better at edgeguarding than Ike.

Ike's aerials are all really laggy when suspended in the air, while Ganondorf's aerials actually have fairly low lag in the air, and they come out faster. While it's risky, Ganondorf can also Up-B people away, and this does not restore their midair jumps, and he also has a midair suicide grab which is hax on Brinstar.

It's somewhat contradictory to the fact Ike has better recovery than Ganondorf, but Ganondorf is definitely better at ledgeguarding than Ike.

ike has very obvious advantages against ike. range and power. but ganondorf has some pretty quick attacks that can kill. dash attack, forward tilt, u, b and down air. ok they are not all that quick but much quicker than most of ikes moves.
he also has his side b that passes through shield so that is another plus. so i would say they are probably pretty even although i feel that in a 1 vs 1 ike will beat ganondorf.

They pretty much covered it. Even though I love Ganon, but Ike's range and priority kind of takes the game away from Ganon.

There is no answer really. It all depends on the player. I use both Ike and Ganon frequently, and it really depends on how Im feeling which decides which I'll do better with.
I say try out Ganon, learn some of his strategies and try to get down his play style, if you like it, then stick with him.

Ike is easier to use... his forward smash is just ********.. kill ganon at like 30% in the right circumstances... stupid...

Ike has the advantage, but that just make him soo much more fun to beat :)

(i guess everyone is kinda fun to pummel with ganon)

Ike take Ganon to school. Even tho Ike to me is one of the easiest character to beat in the game itself. But as much as I like Ganon he going to snap, pop, and crack by Ike's range ,protriy and off stage game.

I agree with MetaRidleyX. Both are ridiculously slow and both have a lot of strength. The only difference is one has to get a bit closer to the opponent and the other doesn't. It really depends on the player. I used Ike to get rid of Captain Falcon and Falcon is somewhat similar to Ganondorf but quicker so it's pretty much the person playing the character as far as a Ike vs Ganondorf match-up goes.

Ike has range, but some of the laggiest attacks in the game(excluding his jab), Ganon is close range, but some of his attacks are rather quick despite the power they have.

There's pros and cons to both of them, it really boils down to the player.
