I thought of Jynx more as a drama queen but you just had to put 'chubby', 'black', and 'slave' in 1 sentence.

The reason why female Mr. Mimes exist is because the Japanese name for Mr. Mime is something completely different. And that there were no genders in the original games. It's too late to rename a pokemon after all these years.
