I get butterflies when I think that we were warned ahead of time to use the adaptor thing... I just hope it isn't as bad as Brawl's online.
I would imagine that the online would be similar to the 3DS version: great for 1v1, but terrible for anything beyond that. Granted, the Ethernet adapter may ease some of the pain from more than 2 players, but the difference it will make is unknown. But who knows though? So long as you are playing with a local friend for online team battles, and your opponent is doing the same, the connection may be better for 4 players in that case.I'll unlock the whole roster first, and then check out the modes before doing anything online. I may even wait a week or two for the kinks / glitches and D/C issues to be fixed (every game has them, even MK8 did) before heading on. If I see positive feedback, I may head on sooner, but we'll see. I get butterflies when I think that we were warned ahead of time to use the adaptor thing... Aside from extreme scrubs at first, it's actually a pretty good time. When you come across a new player as yourself who's a skiller gamer, it's fun going through it together learning the ropes. There will be many of the 3ds players who already know their mains well enough to take online to go against people just like them.but playing a new multiplayer game online immediately after release is just asking to have a terrible time.
I guess what I was trying to say is that I don't trust Nintendo (or any company mind you) to have the online system up and running on day 1 in a way that makes it not infuriating to try and play.Aside from extreme scrubs at first, it's actually a pretty good time.
