You're hit by a BFS multiple time while being surrounded in fire, and them he slams you into the ground in the end. In other words, you'll be burnt very badly and have cuts all over your body, not to mention all your bones would be broken. Have fun.

I imagine that, if his sword is on fire whilst he's slashing you, your wounds would probably be cauterised while you're being slashed. So not only does he get to keep laying on the hurt while you're still alive, but if you somehow survive, you probably won't bleed out at all.

And let's not forget that the man killed a goddess with that technique.

Personally, I'd rather be vapourised instantly and be erased from existence rather than stay behind and suffer. Samus's laser would probably function similarly to an atomic bomb, in that it'd annihilate you with sheer overwhelming energy being released, but even so - those last few seconds are going to feel like unending agony.

Ike's FS for sure.

This goliath is able to knock you into the air with great force using only a two-handed sword. Now, he's constantly slashing you with a burning sword. Think about that. Slcing you apart, while burning you alive.

Then he knocks you down to the Earth to the point you bounce.

The problem with most of them is instant death would be certain, so pain would hardly be an issue. So with this, we have to examine survivable Final Smashes and I would argue... Dedede. Assuming his hit with the hammer doesn't snap your neck, it would no doubt break most of your bones, most likely cripple you and you would die slowly of internal bleeding.

Though most painful to something that could take it is Palutena/Megaman's black holes, because those are giant cosmic forces a nature not even light particals can escape from.

In terms of psychological damage, I would say Jigglypuff's would hurt the most. Ever seen a massive parade balloon deflate and ruin the entire parade for the thousands of onlookers? That is so depressing.

Duck Hunt Dog's for sure. There's a reason "death by firing squad" has been a method of executing political dissidents for centuries. Those bullets aren't accurate, and only a very lucky shot would kill someone instantly contrary to popular culture, so you'd be feeling those holes being punched all over your body before you bled out.

Because I don't know much of the from Sm4sh, from Brawl, the Blue Falcon is undoubtedly the worst. You'd get blown to bits. That would hurt the most and there's really no doubt to that at all.

Not sure much about the Zero Laser or Lucario's Aura blast, but I imagine they could be worse than the Blue Falcon. Zero Laser would probably disintegrate you. You'd just be gone. The Aura Blast is the biggest mystery because I have no idea of the actual makeup of it, but I'd imagine it actually damages your soul/aura and that's pretty major.

Any sword FS would be next, then Kirby's. I mean, that's major third degree burns right there depending on whats in the pot.

Same goes for when there is so much pain (Being disintegrated by a laser) that your mind will actually not register the pain and you'd probably slip into a coma. Theoretically things like Captain Falcon's and Samus's would be virtually painless since they are effective and fast.

Giga Bowser also means pain, getting slashed, burned (by normal fire and darkness) and frozen by his attack effects and getting impaled on one of his spikes or horns.
And Mii Brawler FS looks painful too, because is a MASSIVE beatdown in midair.

The Blue Falcon would actually kill a normal person instantly at the speed it's going. You'd die the same way a fly would when it splatters on the windshield of a car.

I forgot about Duck Hunt's. That actually would probably be the worst after Kirby's brawl final smash and any sword slash final smash and being run over by the land master.

I think, while without a doubt not the worst, Bowser Jr. and his lead-based paint deserve mention for playing the slow game. Large globs of that stuff getting into your body through contact? No es bueno.

Sometimes when people get run over like that, they don't die immediately because the treads or tires are still holding their blood in. Let that sink in for a bit. Nightmare fuel.

The Villager's Final Smash would be painful for larger people. Imagine being crushed inside a little dollhouse.

Dark Pit's Final Smash would probably be the least painful since he's aiming for your head. Boom. It's over. Zelda and Sheik on the other hand are aiming for center mass. Have fun with a gaping hole created by a beam of light. If it's burning light, then expect to have the wound be cauterized as well. More nightmare fuel.
