Who will be your main?

Ok, we do not yet know all the characters that will appear in Brawl but which one of the confirmed ones to date will propably be your main? Of course you can't be 100% sure until you've tested them all but why not make a prediction just for fun? And you can also watch the trailers to easier make your choise. I will propably choose Fox because of his high places on the tier-list in the previous games. But which one will you choose?

Link, hopefully he'll get his speed up so he can verse fox, falco, C. Falcon, and Sheik. Y'know, Link wouldn't be so low on the teir list if these guys weren't used in tourneys so much.

If rayman gets in I might be persuaded to switch and only second him.

Link, unless there is some newcomer I don't know of that you start off with, and if Lucario is in it, then when I would unlock him I'd start mastering him and mainly use that character from that point on.

I'm looking forward to playing as Snake some too.

Me too (but I think he will get in). It is my favourite Pokémon. There should be one from the 4th Generation, Lucario definitely should be it, if it isn't I never will understand wth they were thinking when they ignored adding this character...

I am thinking that he has a good chance, but unfortunately, as long as it isn't confirmed, it isn't a sure thing that it makes it into the game, until it's confirmed to be in it, or the game is released and it is unlocked, one can only hope it is a playable character in SSBB.

Actually, I think that Lucario is the only thinkable Pokémon that will appear in Brawl. I mean, he has quite recently got his own movie, and his bodytype and attacktypes are just perfect for an SSB-appearence. The only one that is close to Lucarios "Smash-perfection" is Blaziken.

But how can you ask who will be our main when, not only do we have no idea how any of the characters will play, but we don't even know all the characters? In any case, I'd like to go back to maining Link, since I like him, but if he's not up to par for serious play, I can't really force myself to do so.

If you read through the first post, I say that I know that we don't know all the characters that will appear in Brawl. I stated that you should pick one of the revieled ones. And I also stated that this thread is mostly just for fun so we can see which one that is your favorite!

Well, out of the possible Pokémon to be newcomers, I'd have to say Lucario has the best chance of making it, he's very popular, has starred in a movie, and has a humanoid shape and good Height and Weight for a Super Smash Bros. Brawl character.

I'd give it a rough estimate of a 70-90% chance, I see no pkmn more worthy of a spot on the list of characters in SSBB than Lucario.

As for what characters will be in SSBB that we don't know of yet, we can only wait, but the time left to wait before it's release now is much less than how long we've already been waiting, we already have well over half of the time to wait behind us, just a while longer now.

Pros - Resists meteor attacks(multiple jumps), Has a cloaking move(not sure what it does), and a sword(can you say quick attack?)

Cons - Won't take much hits(like any other puffball) and all short-ranged attacks( unless he inherits a tornado or fireball attack as B move)

If he just sucks, then...

Kirby, Marth, and possibly, Blaziken/Lucario.

Lucario is everything that Mewtwo wasn't! Let's just hope that Lucario don't meet the same fate as Mewtwo if Lucario appears in Brawl.

Yeah. Mewtwo was a pretty light character, and not very fast (lightweight and slow don't go together so well...).

I think Lucario would have very good speed, pretty good weight, very good jumping ability, good power, wouldn't fall too quickly, and would have a good moveset, I think he'd be one of the most effective characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl (imo).

i firstly would try out all the new comers that intrest me. like blaziken hopefully then lucario then pit and metaknight then zero suit samus then snake and then i will go to my good frend fox. and if i dont like blaziken or lucario then i will probably main fox or link of he's any good. but falco will b my first choice b4 the new comers.

Gonna give Metaknight a try, no doubt. I'll probably stick with Samus for the most part. I'm hoping they make Kirby as good as he was in SSB64, too, cuz I'd love to main him.

If Sonic is there, he's first. Then maybe ridley if he's there.

With the current lineup though, i'll probably try Snake first, followed by Pit.

Of course like many other people i'm going to go ALL OUT with single player to unlock all of the remaining characters. I also hope they don't do that "circle" crap like Twilight Princess so that I can guess how many are left.
