So I have been maining Jigglypuff this game and it's going well and all but I think I need to get a secondary. I really like using her but I find and issue fighting either heavy fighters like Bowser and sword users like Shulk or Marth. Issue I am having is that big fighters is that they can KO me super quick. Once I get to about 50% dmg any of the really big guys can kill me with just one stray smash that hits me. Also with the sword users I just find it hard to get close to hit them and find them just to be a hard match up. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

Honestly, I'd recommend playing someone who's definitely different, but still has aspects of your play style.

My personal recommendations are Sheik and Falcon. Both fast, work well in the ground and air, and are somewhat heavy hitters.

Sheik. Every matchup favors Sheik.

But on a less "use this character because they're overpowered" note, Link may be a good secondary. He's heavy, has projectiles, plenty of kill moves, etc. His recovery isn't very good, but he's pretty solid against most of the characters you listed having issues with.

I think :4duckhunt: takes good care of Bowser and other heavies. Also, it'd be nice to see less popular characters like him online :p

If you have trouble getting close to Sword fighters, I'd say pick a character with a sword or similar weapon so you son't have to get right up next to them. So maybe :4pit:, :4darkpit:, :4marth:, :4lucina:, :4link:. Just a suggestion.

:4wario2: is in that fine area between medium and heavy weight (he's strong and is surprisingly pretty agile). You might like him.

I recommend :4pit: or :4darkpit:

They have good recoveries, a decent projectile and can pull off some combos for easy damage. Plus, they're easy to learn

Any character with range beats out Jig's faults.
On that note, I'd like you to meet :4megaman: and :4duckhunt:. 2 characters that rely solely on projectiles, the former relying on them more while the latter is more of a mixed attacker. These 2 characters are diverse so you can fool around with them and stuff... that adds to their unpredictability.
