Dark Samus and Ridley(better Meta Ridley) would be pretty nice to have in brawl. But there are some chars which shouldn't return like Ness and DK (they're quite stupid).

Dr. Mario is a strong character on his own.
While I can understand there is already Mario, his pill-popping counterpart does serve a different role.

Pichu, I agree with. (Or at least improve the poor guy.)

Young Link -- I don't think should take up his own character spot. I was hoping something more along the lines of transformation like Zelda.

Shiek -- VITAL aspect of Zelda play. Definitely should stay.

Waluigi -- (?)

Ridley should be, I have no comment on Lucario. Pfft, no way Dark Samus, I don't want all these different versions of a character, Samus, Zero Suit Samus and Dark Samus. Kill me now.

The only character I care to see added is Ridley, I'd rather not see Sonic, or Lucario. My reasons for Sonic is he has 2 maybe 3 good games(genesis) and just seems wrong even with the third party spot. Lucario is just lame, he looks like some homosexual anime fox(I hate anime), no 4th generation pokemon should make it in, they all look peculiar. I'll admit snake is growing on me, but I can't see any other 3rd party characters that would really fit the game personally.

i like ephraim better because i have played more of the sacred stones then i have POR, but my opinion on the 2 will most likely change as i play through both games. plus ephraim uses a lance, which beats swords on the weapon triangle

Even some of the original ones looked kind of weird. I just recently figured out the Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan references in Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee's names. Ditto was funny-looking, but he was one of the most awesome, and therefore is excusable.

***I don't know why, but I can't make myself like the Midna/Wolf Link idea, yet the other half of me really thinks it would be necessary, which resulted in it getting it's own 'really torn over' section. People are going to hate me for putting Zant and not Midna, but I seem to be the only one who thought Zant was cool.

Please tell me any you think are missing. I know I'm also gonna be hated for omitting Paper Mario and Baby Bowser, but it's just my opinion.

Ephraim would be a twist because of his Lance. I honestly can't see any FE characters, and I'm a fan of the franchise. Mainly because the characters get swapped every game. Maybe we should just keep Marth.

The list is ok, except a couple things.
1.) Peach I doubt could every be cut out of a new Smash game. she's "arguably" the second most well-known character in the mario universe. And she has a large following in smash as well.
2.)Jiggs most likely will make it in brawl as well for the same reasons for peach (I think)

Other than that, You put Krystal in to be in brawl therefore, Viroxor = awesome

I can't envision Bomberman having a shockingly diverse moveset. He's Bomberman. What does he do? He throws bombs. We have bomb-throwers.

And what's wrong with Megaman? He's been with Nintendo longer than any other third-party character I can think of, and he's awesome.

Ah, I didn't know Jigglypuff was popular on any level, and I did forget that Peach has a new game, so I might have to account for those.

Bomberman has been around for a long time and I think he'd be a great addition, they also make up moves for characters, they don't have to be directly drawn from their original games.

True, but Megaman would be so much easier to do. He has a blaster, which, combined with sliding, would account for his B-moves, and he would be easy to do Smashes for, just basic punching and kicking.

Plus, he's got the copy ability, so he could imitate one person's power, like Kirby, except just using their color scheme instead of an entire wardrobe change. He just makes more sense to me, and he's been one of my favorite video game characters for a VERY long time.

Oh trust me, if Bomberman is in there, I'd be livid if Megaman wasn't. I just am very behind the idea of Bomberman getting in there. He's been around since Super and has only released on Nintendo platforms. Loyalty but yet not repayed yet.

Yeah, I'll grant you that he's been with Nintendo just about as long as MM, and hasn't hardly ever appeared off a Nintendo console. I don't doubt his career with Nintendo, it's just I can't imagine him having a great moveset. If he had a good one, I'd be all for him, so long as it doesn't mess up a more worthy character's chances of appearing.

I think with just a little bit of thought a good move set for him could be designed. Obviously you could come up with a couple bomb throwing moves, also you could give him a punch similar to Luigi's in SSB64. For his throw he could chuck a bomb and then toss his opponent into it. Haha, sounds awesome if you ask me.

Jusr replying to the bomberman part. Nintendo gave Fox a moveset, Im reffering to the N64 version of smash bros. Fox at the time was never controllable outside any of his vehicles. Yet, they made him a very nice moveset. Bomberman has proved in games like" Bomberman generation", and the DS installment "Bomberman land! touch" that he is very capable of fighting. Elemental bomb, Charabom assistance, standasrd punching and kicking and for his final smash, a big bomb. I know I made it sound alot simpler then it actually is, but still. I;m not sure about him participating, but no objections here. nor to Megaman.

Maybe his self launching missle was a refference to the Mario and Luigi series. I remember the advance technique in the game, and if Mario was out of HP, Luigi would launch himself. If you didn't get the action caommand right, you'd fly over the enemy.

i don't like megaman for a few reasons

1. because the real megaman, and by that i mean the original, hasn't been in a game since the snes. now this doesn't count those compilation games just because their a port, and it doesn't count the new game for the wii which is at this point rumors only. there is only 1 bomberman however (not counting the piece-o-**** iron-man knockoff they used in the 360 title)

2. i don't care for the megaman fans at all. they act very superior as far as third party supporters go and they are always shooting their mouth off about how he is 100% in there, which is complete bull****. sure his chances are great, and i would put him right behind sonic and tied with bomberman as far as the 3rd party list goes, but he is by no stretch "in the bag". they also tend to be mega bomberman haters

3. the megaman series has not been a real money maker for capcom since the old school days. right now the company has got the RE series, devil may cry, allot of new series, etc...
hell even in the snes days we had street fighter to keep us busy. thats also when the started introducing the "new megamen"

4. i just happen the like the bomberman games better then megaman games. i find him a more interesting character then megaman and i think he could bring more to the table as far as uniqueness go then megaman can. hell most of megaman's most recognizable moves are already in ssb, his chargeshot, his bomerang shot, missiles, energy sword, his copy ability.
now i am not opposed to the idea of megaman in brawl, hell ill be the first to admit he would be an awsueme character, moreso even then sonic, but i want bomberman in before megaman. bomberman would be the quintessential mad bomber/pyro maniac character in brawl. he would have an insane amount of bombs, not just one like link or samus, but prety much his entire moveset will revolve around bombs, and all different kinds for that matter. i could see him with a molotov cocktail, proximity mines, remote control bombs, bomb kicks, bomb hops, a mini nuke for his final smash (the kind like in unreal tournament), the list goes on and on. any type of explosive you can think of he could have

I think Falco should be in it I mean seriously waht is wrong with clones? We had Mario and Luigi in SSB We had Roy and Marth, Falco and Fox Captain Falcon and Ganondorf and Mario and Dr. Mario. So seriously, what is wrong with clones?

Well, most people believe (myself included) that many of the cloned characters deserve to be their own character. Falco and Ganondorf are the most common ones. Most people want Dr. Mario cut, so clones just aren't very popular.

Wow, looks like someone is more than likely going to be disappointed when Brawl is released then. Not saying that your opinion is wrong or anything, it may well be right, but need I direct you to the negative nancies thread? Unless you can give me a definition of "Proper fighting form" which incorperates Pikachu, Bowser, Jigglypuff, Kirby and Link but discredits both Olimar, Ridley or even Geno for that matter.

Ridley and Dedede are assist-trophy food. What else are the moves gunna do.

Dedede: Swing hammer like crazy and eat people and shoot em out.

Ridley: Fly at people and attack them with fire breathing and crap.

Pikachu is bigger in SSB then usual.

There are good movesets for both of those, I'm sure. They both deserve to be pcs I think.
