I've played tennis for a long time, but this summer after taking lessons I've become more interested in it. Who else here plays tennis? It could be competitively or just for fun on a somewhat regular basis.

I used to play tennis back when I was a freshman is high school. I enjoyed playing but I wasn't good enough so I got out.
I've played tennis ever since I was around 8. Great sport.
I'm decenet and have a good net game (and a wicked forehand), but my backhand is mediocre at best and I can't hit lines consistently

I play tennis like how I play smash. I'm considered good, but I suck.
I played tennis for a few years, but I really got stuck between a rock and a hard place when I was too good for group lessons and not good enough for private lessons. Well I guess everybody's good enough for private lessons... but I was too poor
I could pick up the racket, I guess, but I'd be pretty sluggish and rusty. I had a pretty mean serve back in the day, though. I remember my instructor would set these cones on the line, first guy to hit one gets a free drink. Not only was I first, but I hit the one I was aiming for.
Hmm. I guess I'll put picking tennis back up on my to-do-before-death list.

i play tennis for fun (used to play properly, onlyy sport i cud get trophies for lol) and i play table tennis a fair bit now too lol

Table tennis is very cool as well - I have a table set up right now in my basement that I play on all the time with other people. After playing it for some years, I'm quite good at it - about as good as I am at tennis, actually.
I've only really tried badminton once or twice, so I can't say much for it, although I think it was pretty fun. I've played racquetball quite a few times, and I'm looking forward to playing squash sometime. Of course, I'm better at tennis, but I still like playing these other sports as well.

I'm a huge tennis nerd. I played in high school and I play once in a while now, too. I played the other day for the first time in a month or two, and my forehand was all over the place lol.
I love watching tennis too...big follower of the ATP (WTA not so much)...Go Murray tomorrow!

Holy Samus! What a odd thread! But Yesh! I play Tennis quite alot since my holidays started. I often play doubles with freinds, I'm not bad but I suck at returning SUPER UBER SCARY SERVES! It's a great game, whenever someone fails to return your serve you can proceed to "serve" them. So let rip the "yo momma!" jokes and what not!
Also in America do they call it Tennis or "American Tennis"!+10 WITTY ENGLISHMAN POINTS!
