Who is gonna go online the first day they get the game?

If 2 people from the same wii can play in the same online game. Then yeah since my freind will spend the night. But only after i played some SSE and gotten used to the game. If no 2 people then that means i will wait until he goes home.

-Isolate myself from the outside world (friends, family, internet, school, tennis and all)
-Lock myself in my room for a week.
-Play non-stop by myself, see how much I can do by myself, discovering things on my own one by one.
(yeah kind of sad in a way)

Then afterwards, invite all friends, hop online to see how to unlock stuff, and go wifi matches for 4-infinity years.

I probably won't go online until that 1st weekend. I want to get used to the game and unlock characters.

I'm deffinately going to go online the 1st day... I need to run my tests to see just how easy/hard it is to create/join games and what options are available when you play with friends. Afterall... I'm planning to host a pretty large tournament... gotta work all those kinks out. After of course I kick my old high school friend's butt who's now at a different college. He needs to get a wii and fast. But back to what I was saying... please check out my tournament if you're wondering about how online play might work. A lot of people don't visit the tournament discussion portion of smashboards.... it's not only great for finding tournaments... but really helpful for finding people in your area.
