Who do you main in Melee and why?

I'm new to the boards (not melee) so I wanted to start a thread.
I want to know who you main in melee and why.
I main peach because she is my favorite character!
JK, I main peach because of her crazy combo/punish game, her float which gives her crazy recovery and aids her combo game and her counter (even tho it's not that good). I also main her because I don't want to main a top 5, and I love the look people have when I beat them with Peach!

Yokoso SmashBoards! Just like you, I main since she appears to require a good bit of technical skill to excel with (which is what I'm looking for) and I've used her since I started playing Melee back in 2005. Recently I decided to pick up as my second main 'cause I pity her historically low tier placements throughout all the games she's appeared in. It's time for me to show her some love.

I main Young Link because I want to prove to others that low-tiers are great! Also because the Zelda games have always been my favourite.

I main Link, Fox, Falco, Marth, Mario, Luigi, Doc, Falcon, Jigglypuff, Ganon, Kirby, and for fun, I use G&W, Pikachu, and Peach
