Who are you gonna main and why?

I'm gonna main either Sonic or Snake. Sonic because I like having a fast guy and I like his Final Smash and Snake because I like his explosive moves. So destructive! But anyway, who are you all gonna main?

Probably Fox for either casual and/or competitive play, Mario as a secondary for competitive play, and Bowser for casual, mabe competitive if he's good enough.

I think Fox still has the potential to be top tier, despite the nerfs.

3 and on are ones that catch my interest after I player them.

Krystal is awesome since she was in the first Star Fox game I played and enjoyed. Zelda/Sheik because they are the ones I used in Melee and had gotten the most used to.

King Dedede. I have wanted him in Brawl ever since the announcement of Brawl 2006. I nearly exploded with happiness when I saw the update. I love the uniqueness that is a heavy, hammer wielding, multi-jumping, villain-ish character that is from the boss from the great Kirby franchise.

I'm going to reinterpret this topic as "What characters are you going to play with the most/first whenever you first get Brawl?" Considering I don't know who I'm going to "main" until I get a lot of hours of playtime and basic experience with all characters. But there are characters I'm going to use a ton whenever I first get my hands on the game. And they are:

Diddy Kong
King Dedede
Meta Knight
Captain Olimar
Pokemon Trainer

Simply because they're all fun-looking characters from some of my favorite games of all time (Kirby Super Star, DKC, Pikmin, and any Pokemon game)

Yoshi- It's too late to switch my main to Yoshi in Melee, but I'll try to main him in Brawl because he's my favorite character in Nintendo.

Pokemon Trainer- because of Squirtle. I'll try to keep him in the game as much as possible.

Diddy Kong, because I grew up with DKC, and Diddy's always been my favorite Kong; he's just too flippin' cool.

1. Mario - He's been my main since SSB64, and he's my fave Nintendo character
2. Samus - I'm a big Metroid fan.
3. Diddy Kong - He's my second favorite Nintendo character. Plus, he's a monkey. You can't go wrong with monkeys.

Sonic- MUST. HARNESS. SPEEDINESS.
Meta-Knight - After all the good things I'm hearing about him, I guess I have to give him a try.

Meta Knight, I like the look of his playstyle. But it all depends on who I enjoy playing the most. Hard to make a real decision until I've played everyone. (MK is definately the first character I play though, unless he's secret)
