Who are you going to use?

Everyone. I want to find the best character for my playstyle with a good amount of options and movement. I am going to start in the order of Robin -> Shulk ->Villager -> anyone who isn't being tested to death at the moment.

I'll definitely use Kirby the most. Robin is my favorite character that's currently in Smash Bros, so I'll be curious to see how he turns out, but I don't know how I'll like his tome mechanic. I'm also bummed the Ice Climbers may not be returning since they were a blast to play as.

So basically:

3. Dr. Mario/Mario

I'm also really interested to see how Pacman plays. He looks like my fighting style, but I'll see.

Villager is my main guy. Rosaluma may be my second duo to play since they are the close to Ice Climbers.

Sheik, Greeninja, Little Mac, MAYBE Zero suit if they fix her horrible short hop height, and Palutena. Those are the characters I'm interested in right now so I'll be paying them the most attention when the game comes out but I'll give most of the roster a try to see if there any 'this character feels right' which could expend this list or even shorten it if I feel the most comfortable with that character while thinking they have the most potential.

I'll be using Princess Peach for sure. Hoping that she is as good as she was in Melee.

I'll end up playing everyone, but my main/alts will be a tossup between Robin, Jigglypuff, Greninja, Bowser, Yoshi, and one of the leaked characters.

I bet I will end up maining Shulk, Marth, Dr. Mario, ZSS, Greninja, Sheik, Fox, Rosalina and Yoshi. I'll end up being pretty good with all of them, but I think I will be best with these.

Mr. G&W, Dr. Mario, Falco, and Captain Falcon are probably going to be my most used vets. Cant say much for any of the newcomers yet, but Pac-man, Shulk, and Robin look pretty interesting. I really hope the DHD has a good moveset, and if he does I can see myself maining him.

I'm almost certainly going to stick with my steadfasts: Yoshi, Game & Watch, Diddy and Donkey Kong. If Samus has improved like Sakurai's team claims, I'm gonna pick her up again.

Regarding newcomers, my most wanted were Mega Man and Little Mac, but I don't think they look like my kind of playstyle. Maaaybe Little mac.

Villager remains the most interesting looking fighter to me. Pacman looks fun too. Very curious about the Mii Fighters as well.

Thanks for that. I'll defo try him out asap. But I'll still try them all out to see who my main will be. I don't want to choose one and prejudice my liking for all the others.

For newcomers, I'm interested in Palutena (duh), Rosalina and Robin. For veterans, I'll be using Olimar again and Pit's updated makes me want to try him out again.

I think it'd be funny for all the people who are claiming their SSB4 mains now and then after they play it for a while, all their mains are changed cause SSB4 is a different game. A little hard to call mains for a not yet released game.

Saying "I'm interesting in X" or "I want to see if X can be my main" is a valid statement though.

Personally I'm particularly curious about the Miis in general. Mii Brawler has Rising Falcon for instant brownie points, Mii Swordfighter's Ray Thrust/Ray Satellite sounds super fun to abuse, and Mii Gunner just looks interesting in general.

Aside from that? Everyone. Especially Villager and his conceptually overpowered Neutral Special in FFA. And the unbeatable approach tool that is the Lloid Rocket. Shield-punish this, I dare you! Yeah, no. (Seriously though how do you even punish the freakin' Lloid Rocket?)

I'll play as every character in order to see who will be my main. I'll probably start as Mario though since I feel that playing as him in classic mode will be the best way of getting used to this games physics. I'm hoping to like Marth in this game, since he's my main in Melee (and somewhat in Brawl) but also I'm interest in playing as Zero Suit Samus. She was fun to play as in Brawl and she seems to have received a significant boost in power and speed in this game.

My mains will remain Meta Knight, Samus, Ike, Jigglypuff and Captain Falcon, I really hope the latter two will get some big buffs while Meta Knight needs that nerf.

Possible alts include Mario/Dr. Mario, Bowser Jr, Wario, Kirby, Falco, Greninja and Lucina.

As for other characters I'll play for fun: Bowser, Donkey Kong, Ganondorf, Marth, Dedede, Fox, Charizard, Mega Man and Sonic.

Most of the New Comers look really interesting to play, but Little Mac stands out as the one that would be the most fun for me.
Powerful and has a super lethal Knock Out punch.
I can't wait to try that.

I think Lucina looks really cool.
From what I understand, she doesn't bring anything new, but she uses one of my favourite move sets and her design is cool.
She seems pretty brave, she contested Captain Falcon and survived.

Probably going to try Charizard a lot, dragons are cool.

Probably try out the new Sonic, I hope they make him stronger or easier to KO with, I had trouble doing that in Brawl.
