Press the small area under "Player 1", "Player 2", "Player 3", or "Player 4", and type in what you'd like it to be.

I have my custom controls under my name so I can't have too many but usually "Geek4Jesus" online. I just got 4 of the pdp fight pads but in order to use them like GameCube controllers they need custom setups so they're "fightpad1", "fightpad2", etc

I just use mine to match whatever other tags are being used. Example, if people have their own nicknames, then I use Frizz or frizzyy. If people have all capital letters for some reason, then I just make mine ALL CAPS. If nobody's using any tags, I just leave mine to the default Player one.
