Which stages would you like to see flip over to the other version of Smash 4?

Now that we have a stage already in the Wii U version of Smash 4(Duck Hunt) available for free in the 3DS version, which stages would you like to see come across to the Wii U version? Or which other stages would you like to see on the 3DS that are currently available in the Wii U? I would like to see Magicant and Paper Mario flip over to the Wii U version, and have Skyworld and Kongo Jungle 64 flip over to the 3DS.

I think that, from the 3DS, I only want Warioware and Balloon Fight.

I wouldn't mind Tortimer Island, Reset Bomb Forest and the Zelda stages, but these would need some serious rework.

ALL HAIL CORNERIA, THE BEST SMASH BROS STAGE EVER TO EXIST!

Well besides that, I think we need Magicant and Mute City from the 3DS to make their way over. The Wii U version is lacking new Earthbound and F-Zero stages so they are necessary. But in all honesty I want all of the 3DS stages on the Wii U.

What about the Pac-Man Stage on 3DS? That would look awesome on Wii-U, but no we got that stupid Pac-Land stage -_-

Edit: I almost forgot about the Paper Mario stage

Yoshi's Island and Prism Tower -> Wii U.
Skyworld and Port Town (if the 3DS can handle that stage) -> 3DS.

Reset Bomb wouldn't need any work at all, besides music of course.

I think Great Cave Offense and Palutena's Temple would be great fits for the 3ds version

3DS to Wii U
  • Arena Ferox
  • Yoshi's Island
  • Prism Tower
It'd be nice to have more stages that don't persistently interfere with a match.

Wii U to 3DS
  • Smashville
  • Kongo Jungle N64
Besides Duck Hunt, I believe that these two stages shouldn't put too much strain on the 3DS were they ported over.

I definitely want Prism Tower, Gerudo Valley, Pac Maze, Pictochat 2, Rainbow Road, Mute City, Magicant, Tortimer Island, Green Hill Zone, Distant Planet, WarioWare Inc, Jungle Japes, Yoshi's Island, and Corneria added from the 3Ds version to the Wii U version.

(I never realized how much I liked the 3DS version's stage list better. Almost makes me regret trading it in after I got the Wii U one)

From 3DS to Wii U we need Corneria, Yoshi's Island, Green Hill Zone, Brinstar and Jungle Japes at least. 8 player Smash compatibility would be great on all of these too. I'd like all the 3DS stages but if it were just those, I'd be okay with it.

From Wii U to 3DS I would say... Lylat Cruise, SmashVille, Town and City, and Mario Circuit.

- Corneria
- Brinstar

Especially the Melee stages.

I think Great Cave Offense and Palutena's Temple would be great fits for the 3ds version
I don't think they'd be great fits at all...the opposite in fact...characters would actually be near impossible to see (which is already a problem on 3DS)

Top 2 are N's Castle and Balloon Fight, but Rainbow Road, Nintendogs, and Spirit Train are ones I also want to come to the Wii U.

Honestly surprised there aren't more people who want to see N's Castle (Edit: Sorry, Unova League) on Wii U. HD castle, HD Reshiram and Zekrom, HD Shaymin (maybe?), HD Fusion Flare and Fusion Bolt… I mean really! It'd be awesome!

Tortimer Island would be great on Wii U as well. I personally am one of the few people who likes the swimming mechanics that debuted in Brawl, and would like to see more stages take advantage of them without the water being a constantly hazardous area like it is on Pirate Ship. Granted, sharks are definitely a thing so… idk.

Lumiose City would be a great competitive stage for the Wii U version, especially if it had the same mechanic as the 3DS version where the platforms that go up off the top disappear before reaching the blast line.

Corneria, Yoshi's Island, WarioWare, and Pac-Maze.

I think the first three are a better fit for the Wii U than the 3DS and Pac-Maze is a heckuva lot better than Pac-Land.

I'd like most of the 3DS stages to end up on WiiU. But particularly Brinstar, Corneria, Gerudo Valley, Pac-Maze, and Mushroomy Kingdom

Short answer: All of them that are technologically possible.. neither player base should be denied something because source material is from the other game. I hope eventually a 3DS map pack is released... and it would only be fair to give 3ds players a Wii U pack that includes all that can run. I know they want to keep the versions different though... but after a while maybe the money made from selling these will eclipse the money from those really rick people who want stuff on the other version that can afford it.

By your logic Nintendo answer: Corneria, Gurudo Valley, Mute City: Source material for those were from console games that were later ported... I may have missed some or may have put one in that doesn't belong.

What I want just because I want it:

Corneria: The favorite stage of my normal play group... why oh freaking why did you take it from us!!!

Gurudo Valley: This was a favorite section of OOT for me. The level gimmick looks really fun.

Pac Maze: The gimmick of the stage looks fun, though it would need some adjustments to work on the Wii U Version.

The Pac Man stage from the 3DS on Wii U, and I want Regna Ferox from Fire Emblem in the 3DS version to be on the Wii U.

DUCK HUNT was Nintendos sorry for not giving us The ship. As answer I can only say: "Forgiven". Im really happy that DuckHunt made into 3DS, Give me Lylat Cruise or Smashville (only becouse watching people playing it in every stream made me jeallous.) and Im fine.

3DS -> Wii U
Rainbow Road
Mushroomy Kingdom
Corneria
Pac-Maze

Wii U -> 3DS
Defino Plaza (still the best Mario stage)

Wii U doesn't have many good stages.

I own both version and actually hate how there are so many stages that could be on both that aren't. For me, being able to play Smash Bros on the go is more than enough reason to get the 3DS version and being able to play it on one system with friends reason for the Wii U. Splitting up fun levels is unnecessary.

3DS to Wii

Top Picks

Brinstar - Tons of fun in Melee, it's the least chaotic Metroid stage currently in Smash Bros 4. It'd be great to see in HD
Wario Ware - A shame this one is stuck on the 3DS only, it works better on the version that focuses more on/is easier to do multiplayer
Gerudo Valley - A fun and fair stage, it'd be big enough to support 8 Player mode too
Green Hill Zone - The better Sonic stage, it could probably work with 8 Player mode too
Mute City - Good to have a new F-Zero stage on the Wii U, also provides something different from the travel/land formula that is overdone in the Wii U version

Second Picks
Pictochat - Another fun and unpredictable stage that would be better for the version that has more multiplayer options
Corneria - Another classic that is still fun to play on
Living Room - Another 8 Player candidate, the changing layout is fun to play on and the Puppies would be cute in HD
Yoshi's Island (B) - A fun, competitively viable stage
Tortimer Island - Fun layout and would make use of the swimming mechanic

Bonus Picks
Magicant - Very nice visually, the Flying Man hazard is unique and would be fun to have
Mushroomy Kingdom - It was a fun auto-scrolling stage
Distant Planet - A fun stage, though hard to see, it was fun to try and get opponents eaten
Kongo Jungle - Another one that is harder to see in, but one of the better DK stage, also 8 Player potential
Prism Tower - A fair stage that doesn't really interfere with the battle too much
Pac Maze - Another fun stage but I wonder if the Power Pellet gimmick will work with all players sharing the same screen
Arena Ferox - The changing layout makes it fun and it just is better designed than Colosseum
Super Mario 3D Land - Another fun Autoscrolling Level
Tomodachi Life - Another 8 Player candidate, plus I love seeing the random Miis in the background

Wii U to 3DS

Top Picks
Onett - Still the best Mother stage, it has a fun layout and looks cool, the cars are fun to deal with too
Castle Siege - The changing field has always been fun and they layouts are good too
Halberd - The hazards really make this one
Gamer - Trying to avoid Mom made this stage pretty fun
Mario Circuit (B) - The Shy Guys were fun to avoid and I like how it didn't travel the course
Custom Stage - It'd be amazing to be able to download and play on Custom Stages on the 3DS, even if they cannot be made in that version

Second Picks
Kongo Jungle 64 - A neutral layout, the cannon makes for fun recoveries
Lylat Cruise - Another pretty fair stage with little hazards to ruin the fun of battle
Yoshi's Island (M) - A good, small stage that always lead to some wild battles
Delfino Plaza - A fun stage with changing layouts, it'd be interesting to see how it works without swimming
Bridge of Eldin - While flat, the destructible middle and the "horseback" foe made a good hazard

Bonus Picks
Luigi's Mansion - A simple stage that lead to some chaotic matches with the whole destructible layout
Skyloft - Another fun traveling stage
Pirate Ship - While losing swimming takes away my favorite part of it, the other hazards were still fun to play with
Pilot Wings - An interesting and predictable stage, the 3DS should be able to handle this
Wii Fit Studio - Wii Fit Trainer is the only character that isn't R.O.B. that lacks a home on the 3DS now, remove the mirror and it should work fine
Sky World - The best Kid Icarus stage, it's pretty fun to play on
Pac Land - I actually enjoyed this stage, it'd be nice to have another autoscroller
Smashville - Another fair stage that doesn't disrupt battle
Norfair - If the 3DS can handle it, it's a very fun stage
Windy Hill - Not as fun as Green Hills but still a good stage

I'm not rich, but I would pay for all of these (over time) and any other Past Stage as well

Rainbow Road, Paper Mario, and Mute City from 3DS would be welcome additions to the Wii U version in my book, and I certainly wouldn't mind Magicant or Prism Tower either. For 3DS... god, there are just so many good Wii U stages that I want to see added to 3DS if at all possible. Mushroom Kingdom U, Garden of Hope, Wuhu Island, Miiverse, and Kalos Pokemon League, just to name a few, would all be awesome additions. 3DS generally is in desperate need of better stage selection, and I think it could definitely benefit from borrowing a couple more stages from Wii U.

Delfino Plaza and Halberd on 3DS.

Magicant and Paper Mario on Wii U.

I'd be happy with that!
