Which is better?

Hey fellow smash players I wanted to know is there a big diffrence in competitive play when using a classic controller pro and a gamecube controller. If so, tell which stuff you cannot do on classic pro controller but can do on gamecube controller and vise versa thanks

clasic pro controller plugs into your wiimote right?

Sounds like a pain + extra latency + batteries for days

Gamecube controller:
Plug it into wii, you're done!

Classic Pro:
Plug it into Wiimote, but you gotta make sure it has batteries. And batteries are dumb

I use Classic Controller Pro occasionally, but I have a custom button setup that closer to Smash64. I haven't brought it to tournament grounds since I feel it maybe inconvenient.

Sorry for the late reply and no picture, but:
Controller -> Custom
A -> Jump
B -> Attack
Y -> Special
If you like you can switch the L/R with Z1/2.

Similar to a N64 layout.

Perfer the gamecube controller. Near indestructible and it grips nice into the hand.
