I'm just wondering what others here are thinking. Of course, for most of you, just playing normal Smash battles online/offline will probably be the main thing you do, which makes enough sense, so I'm not terribly concerned with that for this thread. But I'd like to know which other parts of the game you guys and girls are interested in trying out.

To give my two cents, I'm personally most excited for the Stage Builder, Smash Tour, and the music, in that order. I'm a big fan of making my own stages just for the fun of it, I enjoy Mario Party-esque gameplay, and I really like the music the Smash games bring with them.

Also, if another thread like this was already made (because I didn't search an awful lot), someone can go ahead and lock this thread or so and I'll be okay with it.

I'm actually pretty darn excited for Smash Tour.

The music is an obvious choice (man, the 3DS got screwed when it came to music), and I'm cautiously optimistic for the Amiibo support.

Besides standard Smash, 8-Player mode is what I imagine I'll play the most, though likely with only 5-6 players most of the time. Smash Tour, Special Orders, and Event Mode all look awesome, though, and I imagine I'll mess around a fair bit with Stage Builder as well.

Overall, I'm probably most excited about the stage and music selection, though. DK has two fun-looking stages (maybe even a third in 8-Player), Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Circuit 8 and Wuhu Island all look great, a ton of great returning stages are back, etc. And the music's astounding; several awesome new Mario tunes and remixes, MOTHER's is as great as ever, and Pac-Mania and freaking Sky Kid and Metro-Cross are repped on Pac-Land. With old Namco games essentially being Nintendo for me up until 2003, I swear everything related to Pac-Man was directed right at me; I almost feel obligated to get good at him now.

Special Orders.
Can't wait to see how far I go before losing winning it all.
Reminds me a bit of the game show Press Your Luck as well.

I'm excited for everything, but I'm most hyped for the complete soundtrack. If any of the not-yet-discovered tracks are half as good as the default songs, I think Sm4sh may have the best videogame soundtrack ever.

8-player Smash and the beefed-up Sage Builder are the hypest for me.

I'm actually pretty excited to try out the Smash Tour mode. After that it would be the 8-Player battles, then Amiibo and the soundtrack are tied for third.

In order:

1. 8-Player Smash
2. Stage Builder
3. the music (only #3 because like Brawl I expect it to be awesome right from the get-go)
4. amiibo/3DS support
5. Special Orders
6. everything else

Event Mode always under appreciated especially since I'm a fan of the flavor text and Event Mode already seems better than in Brawl.

That's probably why I'm not as hyped for it. As much as I try to downplay Melee because everyone shows so much love for it, I did like its Event Mode, and Brawl's didn't come close to as good, even though having the option for 2 players was cool.

No matter how bad Event Mode is, they can't take away my flavor text. It's why I'm also hyped for more trophies especially with the funnier trophy descriptions in this game.

Mostly online just because it's playing with actual people without me having to spring for more controllers.
8 Player Smash looks excellent and the single player modes, mostly Classic look AWESOME.

I'm not exited for 8-player smash because the idea of having 8 people in front of my wii u is unrealistic ;p (and i don't care about bot's filling those spots)
I like board games so smash tour gets me pretty exited. Also the music seems great.

The only things that interest me are the music and the new stages. Don't care about those extra modes in Smash Bros.

I'm more excited about the Event Matches and Special Orders. Can't wait to see what sort of challenges they have in store.
