Which Event Matches would you prefer to see?

True, I am not a fan of characters like Ness, R.O.B., and D3, but I doubt that would change Sakurai's mind. I really don't get why people hated WFT though, I liked her since the beginning (I was still pretty surprised though). Let's just hope that there aren't too many. I think three would be enough (if Sonic and Snake made it in).

I liked WFT from the beginning as well. Why do you dislike Ness and Dedede? Both are important to their series. R.O.B. is also important to Nintendo's history. I mean not everyone will like every character just seems like an odd 3. I understand disliking R.O.B. but most dislike Lucas not Ness.

I can't really explain it. As characters, they are pretty cool to me, but moveset wise, I just don't like them. Whether I am playing against them or playing as them. I just like Lucas's moves better.

I'd say 3 to 5 but we most likely get 4 in total unless they cut snake and sonic. (They might modify their movesets a bit more.)

an event with Greninja and Sheik where you play as Sheik and show Greninja who the BEST Nintendo Ninja is, titled "Ninja Showdown"
Or an event where you fight Samus as Zero Suit Samus and the game refers to the Power Suit Samus as SA-X. Titled "Metroid Fusion"
I have tons of Event Match ideas.
here are just a few more:
One where you play as Mario, against Link, Pikachu, and Kirby to prove Mario is the best Nintendo character there is. "The Greatest Showdown"
One where you pick whichever character you like and fight against Mario, Sonic, and Mega Man. "Melee of the Millennium"
One where you fight Mario as Yoshi. "Insubordination"
One where you race to the Finish as Sonic against the three other fastest moving characters in the game titled "The Fastest in the Universe".
One where you fight Ganondorf as any character you want, probably called "Strange Destiny".
One where you fight the other Pokemon as Pikachu, titled "Pokemon's Mascot"
One where you fight Charizard as Pikachu in a one-on-one. "Master's Best Pokemon"
One where you fight Captain Falcon and Fox as Samus. "Bounty Hunter Free-for-all"
I have many more ideas, I'm pretty sure this covers about 15% of it.

• A fight with Metal Mario in Metal Caverns
• Some sort of event match with Characters having unlimited use of their final smashes (if they have transformation based final smashes)
• Something involving Giga Bowser

• Event match involving crazy custom movesets
• Something like Melee's Showdown
• Something completely unexpected

None, I hate Event Matches.

I didn't like completing them to unlock things seeing I'd rather just play like 1,000 vs matches to get all the characters, and they're pretty stupid.

I personally think Event Matches were the next best thing added in Melee, mode-wise, after Adventure Mode and All-Star Mode respectively.

In Melee, the Event Matches are almost (almost) like a story mode. I like being set in a specific setting to complete a special goal. plus it's just plain awesome when I end up fighting Dark Link. in fact, I hope Sakurai makes the Events return.....there is always the possibility of them being removed.

I don't think Brawl's events were necessary to unlock anything important. and I'm pretty sure the only thing we unlock from Events in Melee is Ganondorf......then again I might be mistaken, it's been a while since I played Melee on a new file.

If I remember correctly, you get Ganondorf, Pichu, Final Destination, as well as the goomba, entei, and majora trophys from Melee.

From Brawl, I remember you can get jiggs, Mario Bros, Hannenbow, Mount Coronet, and a few music tracks

I really liked the Yoshi's Egg event match from Melee or even little things like you vs. Dark Link or three Dark Samuses, whatever. Or that one where you fought two mini DKs and then a Giant DK.

For example, most people think if King K Rool is added, there will be another trouble kings event against Bowser, Dedede and K Rool. I think if this does happen, the event will force you to choose between Mario, Kirby and DK.
Another one would be an event that chooses you to pick a pokemon character and fight the other pokemon in a free for all fight.

I knew Snake came in because of Sakurais's friend and Sonic came in because fans wanted him in which kind of made me didn't like Brawl because both Sonic and Snake were in I thought Sakurai just gave up on making it a "Nintendo All-Star" fighting game.

They were a total of 5% of the roster. 95% of charcters being nintendo still sounds like a nintendo game to me.
