That would be so great. I know they'll have enough adapters and controllers for the invitational but for every Best Buy it would be pretty difficult. One can hope.

Probably Pro Controllers since they are the easiest for a 4 player free for all with no shoulder touching.

I did a little video and plan on doing a small video series for the upcoming Smash-Fest event @ Bestbuy.

http://youtu.be/F-LmRunNZQM I'm honestly thinking we will be using Wii motes sideways or classic controller Pros.

Do you guys think that the GameCube adapter is already built and shipped to all the best buys? That's a big time prediction! Anyone work at best buy? Could you enlighten us?

Yes, the Wiimote and nunchuck are compatible with the Wii U,

Yeah you can bring your own controller but it is very likely they will not let you use it.

I doubt the Gamecube adapter has been fully tested and shipped to every best buy store to try. I'm hoping for the next best option - Wii U pro controllers

When the people at the Invitational are using Gamecube ones, I'd guess those adapters are also used at Best Buy.
My second guess would be the Gamepad.

I wonder what Nintendo wants to advocate more - the Pro Controller or the Gamecube Adaptor? I think it depends on the amount of use the Gamecube adapter will give us.
