Where would you like to be?

…So yeah.
Next year I have to take career lessons as a compulsory class, 4 or 5 periods a week.
And it got me thinkin’. Where will I be in 6-10 years? Where do I want to be in that time?

I’m pretty sure I’d like to pursue a creative career, hopefully Actor/Comedian/Writer/ triple thread. But that’s really the best case scenario, but sure as **** am I aiming for it. Even if my damm Careers teacher constantly tells us we should get "Normal" (*Cough-dull-*Cough*) jobs.

And then I thought about the sad life I lead on SWF, and naturally, I thought of all the other mights’ that rummage around on here along with me.
So where do you guys wanna be in a few years? What are your plans for the near to distant future? What job to you want, do you want kids, ect.
What’s your ideal future?

I’m just curious. It’s in my nature, dammit!

Career-wise I'm going for being a music teacher of some kind. Probably a band director or something like that.

I'd love to be a performer or a bassoon teacher... But I don't really think I'm ready for those two things at the moment. Maybe later on in life I can perform in an professional orchestra - that'd be awesome.

As for other things, I really am thinking I want a family. Throughout the last 4 or 5 years I've always thought (and said!) that I don't want to get married or have kids... But really I don't know if I can do that. I'd love to get married, and I'm sure kids are a worthwhile experience.

My plan is to somehow magically found and CEO a company that becomes wildly successful, give away $15 billion a year to African charities, and become President of the United States.

I have the creativity, smarts, decision-making skills, etc. to do it, but none of the ambition or planning skills. Which is sad.

I don't really have a Plan B. And I'm not even serious about Plan A. So, I don't know what I want to do or be.

I plan on moving to Kansas and enrolling in Kansas University so I can be with my mates. <3 I'm still deciding between being a chef, baker, or one of those massage people...what're they called? Maseus or something...no idea how it's spelled.
