Where can I get a place to hold a tournament?

Hey to all smashers. I currently am planning a smash trouney for the wounded warriors project. But, I'm having trouble finding a place to hold it. I live in Jonesboro Arkansas. If someone could give tips on how to find a place, i would greatly appreciate it.

Most people opt for comic book stores, places that hold traditional fighters, even card stores for CCGs. Churches are pretty solid if they have a basement they're willing to rent out.

We use a local community college campus to host our tournaments. The venue is completely open to the public so we have no venue fee. If we wanted to, we could even form an official college club and be able to rent our own rooms (for free). I've also seen tournaments hosted at highschools, so maybe ask at your local one.

we've got a university-sponsored club that allows us to play in the student union building for free. video game/collectable/card store is also good, we run friendlies at a used game store every few weeks
