I either run back and forth across the stage or immediately run to the left edge. It's always the left for some reason.

Well for some reason I always tend to do the same thing when I use three of the characters I like most. When I'm using Samus, I charge B, and if it was already charged, I just drop bombs around.

When I'm using Ganondorf, I go to the left (or right) side of the stage, then turn around so I can face the other side, and then I crouch and wait there.

And when I'm using Bowser, I just short hop/crouch repeatedly.

For everyone else, I crouch a lot and/or roll around. lol

Moves are only affected by stale-move negation if they connect with an opponent or other object that can take damage.

4. Did they die in a stupid way and I have a character that has a taunt to appropriately convey that they died stupidly (ie. G&W sigh). Yes, use that. No:

I have a few things I'll do depending on the situation or my mood. It used to pretty much always be a taunt. Now I find myself running and jumping randomly, sometimes with some aerials thrown in. Occasionally I'll crawl around because Greninja's crawling sound effect is perfect in every way. If I'm using Samus (or any other charge character) however there's rarely time for anything other than charging.

As Fox I usually just jump around and pretend to double shine... so basically I shine.

If your somebody like Mario or DK, it's probably best to charge your special move.

It depends on the character I'm playing, when I play Ness i just pop a PK Flash, but with ZSS I shorthop into dair

As any character with a charge ability, I'll charge.
If they're an agile character, I may short hop around.
Otherwise I'll just casually walk to one side of the stage.

As Mega Man I'll typically get a Metal Blade in my hand.

But... there's a bit of tech involving this subject that I've been meaning to put to the test:

Just as the opponent has descended from the angelic platform and is about to regain mobility, place Rush right underneath them! If they don't avoid it, they get launched into the air along with you. Odds are they'll get caught off guard and won't follow you through the air, and by the time they land they've lost just about all of their invincibility time.

Charge needles if i'm playing as Sheik, taunt if playing as Falcon and shorthop aerials with everyone else.

It depends. If I'm playing a character with a charge attack, I usually take that time to charge it to full power.

Now, if I'm playing as Duck Hunt, then I do the "nefarious laugh" taunt twice. I like to get my opponents annoyed. xD

Run to the sides of the stage, a few crouches here and there. Then usually a DJ to get in the air and avoid their respawn invincibility.

Doesn't this force your to air dodge if you get attacked? Then there's that landing lag right?

Sometimes I roll to a ledge then roll back and forth until they respawn. More often than not they will misread a roll and charge a forward smash facing the opposite direction. Otherwise, taunt followed by practicing AT.

Definitely taunting. It's a little rude I know but it gets people thirsty to beat me and as Duck Hunt I can go ahead and punish that and it plays into my strategy.

If I were any other character with item spawning/charging/etc I wouldn't hesitate to use the time to get ready there.

I hang around near the ledge. Sometimes instead of taunting, I just spam my down tilt attack (but only with a character with a fast down tilt).
