My best class is pyro. I use a strange professional killstreak phlogistinator, a strange killstreak scorch shot, and a strange killstreak axtinguisher. Since the phlog has no airblast, I use the knockback from the scorch shot to retain area control and it is great for building fire damage for crits. I carry the axtinguisher as a heavy counter, mostly. But it's not nearly as good since the nerf. (RIP in peace axtinguisher)

Cool cool. I don't use the pyro much, tbh, but I've been meaning to play him more. My bread and butter are scout and demoknight myself. I also playing enjoy sniper, soldier, and offensive engie (Although support engie is cool too sometimes.).

I also play a mean demoknight. Strange Loose Cannon + Charge n Targe + Claidheim Mor is incredible.

My latest concoction has been a troll set consisting of the sticky jumper, the B.A.S.E Jumper, and the Eyelander. Death from above, and a snipers worst nightmare. It also combats engies. It's such an evil set. Not perfect, as the lack of fire resistance is pretty crippling, but still insanely fun to use.

Most of the time, I'm just hopping around classes and switching weapons on them.
Usually:
Scout: Scattergun, Mad Milk/Pistol, Boston Basher/Bat
Solly: Depends on the situation and map.
Pyro: Flamethrower, Shotgun/Detonater, Homewrecker/Any form of Stock
Demoman: Grenade Launcher, Tide Turner, The caldiemohr(?)...
Heavy: Minigun, Sandvich, Anything really.
Engineer: Really depends on situation and map. :L
Medic: Overdose, Quick-Fix, Ubersaw
Sniper: Sniper Rifle, Jarate, The Bushwacha(?)
Spy: Black Rose(Stock Skin), Quack watch(Stock Skin), Sapper, Ambassador

Funny, I always use the Force-A-Nature. Although, I may change to the Baby Faced Blaster one of these days. Now, the Boston Basher I can't use worth spit. XD

As botched as TF2's hit-detection is, Basher's easy to use. The trick is not to hold down M1 like a mad man.

Plus, if you got the Mad Milk equipped. Then you may either heal and continue battling!...or recover your just missed swing.

Bonk! Atomic Punch
Holy Mackarel (hitting someone with a fish is a great stress reliever, especially when you see you've done a Fish Kill.

Soldier:
Stock Rocket Launcher
BASE Jumper
Equalizer

Pyro:
Backburner
Shotgun
Postal Pummeler (I actually have both it and the Axtinguisher, but prefer hitting people with a mailbox.)

Engi:
Widowmaker
Stock Pistol
Gunslinger (mostly because I like to punch people with a robot arm, but also of course due to it's practicality)

Medic:
Crusader's Crossbow (even IF I have terrible aim.)
Kritzkrieg
Bonesaw (someone here doesn't have an Ubersaw.)

I usually use the wrangler, but that set for engie is pretty devastating when used right. Frontier Justice is also a fun one to use with the gunslinger.

3. Have said friend equip the Kritzkrieg.

Who said it was bad? It makes entire pubs mad. Never run out of ammo as long you can aim, and with Kritz, the other team's having a bad day.

That's what I meant: Bad for the other team. Another fun thing to do is to play engie with the southern hospitality on a DeGroot Keep server. Nobody expects a crazy engie to go around causing bleed.
