What's with the Network these days?

It's been pretty bad lately. Haven't been running into many players consistently, and when I do, it's the same 1-3. Same goes for the occasional Japanese player, although, that might be a good thing in terms of connectivity, but lobbies have been pretty empty as of late. At least, with 3DS Smash.

Yeah I do, so what is wrong?

Basically it's some sort of incompability between you and rouglhly 90% of anyone else. With certain friends I had this problem constantly: I couldn't enter a room with them. I saw a guide somewhere how to configure your net settings on the 3DS, including writing down an ip manually. Have to tried such guides? I would have to search for it again. Port forwarding can also help, that was actually what set me straight with online gaming. I have the same issues today when I disable port forwarding.

It was working fine just two weeks ago, I would always find a player almost instantly, but I was prompted to update the game last week and ever since then, it's been terrible. It's like I don't even connect to U.S players anymore.

A week ago I would have an empty room 1 out of 5 tries, but now I get an empty room like 4 ouf of 5 tries.
