What's with the lack of stage diversity on For Fun?

IIRC the game chooses the stage at random for the players (meaning you and your opponents have no say on stage selection). Y'all almost never play on overly large stages like Palutena's Temple or Great Cave Offensive (thank the Lord). At least with 75m and Orbital Gate Assault, they both have frequent stage hazards to disrupt taunt parties and cowardly tactics.

I never played for fun on smash wii u so I don't know how it is, but at least on 3DS I see a good selection for the most part.
