I personally think it will turn into a place for tips, hints, and techniques. I hope they continue the updates. It would be cool to be able to still check the site for unlockables, music, etc..... Can't wait for the release. What do you think?:);):)

I agree with you, It should be a the main place that shows how to unlock new things. and by main I mean it should be there since everyone will talk about the things they unlocked here first.

I'm not sure we'll get anything revolutionary after the release date. Things found in the game that will be most usefull will be posted here as it's discovered by our own community. Example ... ways to manipulate the physics of the game and or the newest techniques.

If it does what the Melee site did, it'd have updates on unlockable things after the launch and then after a long while it'll get pulled down and replaced by some stupid "promo" site. :/

I hope it turns into a place where you can see the online leaderboards. Then you could track your competition on the smashbros. site. The could possible turn it into a kind of tournament site where you can see your next opponent if you have entered and get thier friend code and stuff. They could do a lot of things with the site, I just hope they don't pull it down and replace it with an ad.

I doubt, for some reason, that the updates will slow down (dramatically) once it's released in the US. If that's the case, it's going to be a rough wait for UK and AUS.

Don't you think it would actually become easier if there would be no hype?
The dojo is to make people REALLY want Brawl, so i think it would be logical.

Yeah, I agree. The only reason I spend so much time on the Dojo is because of the hype. When the game is released in Japan and all the information in online, The Dojo won't be as important, except for maybe the pretty pictures.

Exactly. It will be there for a bit after for Europe and such, then it will release some unlockables and things. Then it might stick around a little but then after that it will either change to a promo page. Wheather it keeps the info on the site (all the updates) remains to be seen. I hope so.
What would be cool would be they have a clickable roster on all reveiled characters and have their profile and moves displayed/displayable. But besides unlocks (which I assume will be reveald online before the Dojo puts it up) I wont have a reason to go there after I get it.

I just think they shouldn't take it down. They should turn it into a leaderboards site, or make it a place for players to share stories, videos, tips, and everything. They should just open it up to the fans. It would be very successful. I'm sure of it.

Worms Armageddon FTW.

I've been looking for that game for-****ing-ever...

I can't see the Dojo continuing in it's current form past the European release. Up until then, I think you'll just keep seeing updates, though it won't matter at that point. I question the Dojo's worth to us after the Japanese release date.

...not that I won't check it obsessively anyways.

Most likely it will stop being updated after the Japan release. Then maybe they will put a whole bunch of goodies on there (spoilers)

Probably what happened after the melee release; they'll reveal most of the secret characters and what not

Well, there was a similar Melee site I believe. You can still find it, but I don't think it has ever been updated since the release.

So Dojo will probably just remain as it is when Brawl comes out, left only to be forgotten. Funny, considering how important it is now.

Really? Armageddon? Me and a friend thought "Super Smash Brothers Mayhem" would be an awesome title for the (hopefully...) next SSB game, although some may confuse it for melee when referring to SSBM (melee)

I don't know, it'd be a cool name, although Armageddon is pretty awesome too.

i could see the updates ending once the Japanese version is released but i expect them to over haul the site some and make it just kinda how the other nintendo game sites are and just be a place for some info

Heh...the only thing that will happen to this place is that it'll become that much more jam pack with new members asking for tips, tricks, and stuff like that.

That and the tournament scene will be that much more competitive than ever before. . . . so epic.

Im going to guess that they will still be giving updates after the Japanese release.
The updates coming after the Japanese release are going to mainly aimed towards not-so-frequent Dojo people.
Everyone here on the SWF(that eat up new information) will look to the Japanese release for answers.

Sakurai's trying to please everyone I guess.
